This collection studies what it means to paint the ideal by means of letting go of the "idealized." Painting a subject leaves you to asses size, dimensions and symmetry — but in the human form, there is no measured accuracy. Humans exist in all shapes, sizes, colors, and dimensions. This ongoing series aspires to unlearn, in order to redefine the ideal and capture all figures and forms. The collection of postures and power strive to embrace all silhouettes, curves, and folds that keep us loving and living.
This Art by Cherise Giclée print is created on hot press archival paper — an acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a bright smooth finish. We use a pigment based process to match the color of the original exactly and capture all the minute details and strokes that you would see on the original painting. This paper has an extremely-high color gamut and black density.
