Titled: Lost in Dance
20x20 Acrylic on Canvas Original Painting
This painting is a celebration of movement.
This collection studies what it means to paint the ideal by means of letting go of the "idealized." Painting a subject leaves you to asses size, dimensions and symmetry — but in the human form, there is no measured accuracy. Humans exist in all shapes, sizes, colors, and dimensions. This ongoing series aspires to unlearn, in order to redefine the ideal and capture all figures and forms. The collection of postures and power strive to embrace all silhouettes, curves, and folds that keep us loving and living.
This original painting is sold and living in Los Angeles.
